NEW APPOINTMENTS: Sheffield firm Servelec lands new advisor

Sheffield-based technology group Servelec has appointed Mike Tynan as non-executive senior advisor to the board.

He will advise directors at Servelec Controls, a division of Servelec Group PLC. Mike is currently chief executive officer for the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at the University of Sheffield. He also holds positions on the UK’s Nuclear Industry Council and Nuclear Innovation and Research Advisory Board.

He said: “I have known of the company and its senior team for some time and have been impressed by the company’s ambitions.”
