An accountancy firm has boosted it workforce with the appointment of 13 school leavers and graduate trainees across its Yorkshire offices.
Grant Thornton has hired young people in its audit, tax and advisory teams in its Sheffield and Leeds offices.
Andy Wood, regional practice leader in Yorkshire and North East, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome the new starters this year, and look forward to helping them develop into stars of the future.
“It’s all about recruiting the right people and our recruits include talented school leavers and graduates who haven’t come from a mathematical or accounting background.
“We believe that these skills can be taught and for us, the candidates’ personal attributes are much more important.
“Grant Thornton is committed to ensuring its people enjoy the work they do and are encouraged to be themselves.”
