INTERNATIONAL opera singer Deborah Norman is joining author, broadcaster and raconteur Gervase Phinn for an evening of music and stories on stage in aid of dementia charity Lost Chord.
The South Yorkshire soprano will be accompanied by acclaimed Sheffield pianist David Barnard as she presents popular classics as part of Gervase Phinn in Conversation, at Sheffield Hallam University’s Pennine Theatre on October 18.
The award-winning writer and broadcaster will be sharing tales of life as a Yorkshire schools inspector.
Fundraising manager Tina Harrison said: “Gervase’s live performances are always a sell-out so we advise booking as soon as possible.
“To have Deborah and David on stage together will be a great opportunity for our audience to hear the fabulously high standard of performance Lost Chord is presenting to people with dementia, both locally and national.”
n Tickets cost £14 - book online at www.lost-chord.org.uk or call 01709 811 160.
