A SHEFFIELD cat charity is looking for the perfect owner to take a very special pet into their home.
The Cat Abuse Treatment Society - C.A.T.S - is keen to find a lifelong home for Pita, an eight-year-old pure white cat who is entirely deaf.
Charity bosses say Pita is a friendly cat who loves company but because of her condition she has a number of special requirements which make her unsuitable for many owners.
Jackie Longley, patron of C.A.T.S, said the charity has spent a number of months finding a new owner for Pita, who has always been an indoor cat.
She said: “I know the perfect owner is out there. It must be someone without any other cats, dogs or children, who doesn’t live on a main road and has a secure garden.”
