Parents of babies born at Sheffield hospital urged to send in photos for special book

Parents of babies born at the Jessop Wing in Sheffield are being urged to send in pictures of their children born at the hospital for a special book of thanks to staff.

The Sheffield Hospitals Charity plans to present the photobook to Jessop Wing staff over the summer.

Jenna Settle, a charity fundraiser, said: “We receive so many messages from parents who are so thankful of the support and kindness they have received when they have had a baby in the Jessop Wing, whether a straightforward birth, or one which has required further care.

“Many of the staff don’t get to see all these which is a shame, so we wanted to capture all these lovely comments in a special book.

“We have received so many messages and photos already, but it would be fantastic to receive more, and make it a special book for staff to treasure for years to come.

“The photobook will be presented to the Jessop Wing over the summer. We hope it brings a smile to the faces of the staff who work so tirelessly on the wards.”
