Pedestrian left with ‘serious’ leg injuries after Sheffield crash

A pedestrian has been hospitalised with ‘serious’ injuries to his leg after being involved in a collision with a car in Sheffield today.

Police say he was in collision with a grey Nissan Micra in Sheaf Street, at the bottom of Howard Street, at around 1.40am. It happened outside the railway station.

The pedestrian, a 41-year-old Sheffield man, is currently in hospital receiving treatment.

The Nissan driver, a 25-year-old Sheffield man, was not injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
