Boxers aim high by practicing - on top of towering Sheffield city centre building
That’s one way to take outdoor exercise to new heights...Two men were today spotted boxing on top of a towering building in Sheffield city centre.
The duo, seen practicing on top of the former HSBC building, were spotted by workers in surrounding offices as they put on an impressive show in the unusual location, in glorious morning sunshine.
Construction work is taking place at the towering former HSBC building, part of the Pennine Centre, also known as Griffin House, which was built between 1973 and 1975. Construction workers could be seen watching the two men as they practiced.
The tallest block of the building is 165ft and 13 storeys, and is currently being transformed into a new city centre quarter featuring flats, offices, bars and restaurants.
A video was also taken of the pair of wannabe boxers on top of one of the tallest buildings in the city centre.
