The Bingham Park Community Group (BPCG) are aiming to raise funds to transform a ‘derelict’ area of Bingham Park into an activity hub for all ages.

The BPCG, featured in last week’s Sheffield Telegraph, have set a target of £20,000 on their Crowdfunder, which went live on March 18.

So far, the group have already raised over £3,000 through their online Crowdfunder – but there is still a long way to go.

A member of the group said: “Wow. The donations that are coming in are just fantastic. Thank you so much.

“A special thank you to all those of you who are making such an effort to raise money.”

The group need to raise £50,000 in total, with them aiming to raise the remaining £30,000 from charitable trusts, companies and further donations from outside the Crowdfunder.
