Sheffield city centre pub wins Camra award

The Roebuck Tavern has been named Sheffield’s pub of the month by The Campaign for Real Ale.

Owners Alison Newbold and Chris Eastwood, along with manager Jodie Kinlock, were presented with the award from Dave William, from the Sheffield branch of Camra.

Alison and Chris took over the pub, on Charles Street, city centre, two years ago and have transformed it into a traditional pub.

Alison, who also owns Woodstreet Brewery and The Hillsborough Hotel, is Sheffield’s only female brewer.
