Crowds turned out for the event that gives visitors a taste of the countryside and creates a community focalpoint. “Members of the public leave with a better understanding of what farming and rural industry is all about,” said show president Roger Dickson.
Not everything was a reflection of traditional rural activities, though.
One of the highlights was the Blazing Saddles stunt riding show.
