A terraced building which collapsed in Sheffield city centre is set to be replaced again with student flats.
The three-storey building on Brook Hill came crashing down in March when a digger hit a pillar during works.
One man was trapped in the rubble with two requiring hospital treatment, and 15 students needed to find alternative accomodation.
Now plans have been submitted to the council to rebuild the mid-terrace section, providing space for a restaurant and four-bedroom flats.
Pat McGrath, director of accommodation and commercial services at Sheffield University, said: “The building on Brook Hill is privately owned and is not registered as approved University of Sheffield accommodation.”
