Sheffield Housing Company is to share its proposals for Fir Vale at an information event at the Pakistan Community Advice Centre, Page Hall Road, Page Hall, between 3pm and 7pm on Wednesday, April 13.

The development scheme, which already has planning permission, includes the construction of 59 homes of between two and six bedrooms in size.

ON Wednesday, April 20, plans for new homes in Norfolk Park will go on display at Sheffield Housing Company’s site office in Frank Wright Close, Norfolk Park, between 3pm and 7pm.

The company wants to build 83 new homes and a small apartment block.

Building work on both sites is due to begin soon.

Another information session concerning 181 proposed homes at Manor will be staged at a later date.

The developments are in the second phase of a drive to regenerate Sheffield, with a project already underway at Parson Cross.

A Sheffield Housing Company spokesman said: “The joint venture partnership, comprising the city council, developer Keepmoat and housing provider Great Places has so far completed 261 homes for sale and affordable rent.

“It hopes that by 2030, it will have delivered 2,300, while providing jobs, training and investment to kick start local economic growth.”

Sheffield Housing Company is a private sector developer with a 15 year plan to build in excess of 2,300 new homes in seven of Sheffield neighbourhoods.

It is a partnership between Sheffield City Council, Keepmoat and Great Places.

Homes will be available to buy or rent.
