Fancy starring in Games Of Thrones alongside the likes of Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams?

HBO are looking for actors to appear in the final series of the fantasy drama show, which is being filmed across locations in Northern Ireland.

The American cable company has put out a casting call for a "sassy and attractive girl" from the North along with a "colourful young Northern actor" to play a sentry.

And, according to the hugely popular GOT fan site Watchers On The Wall, the hit show is also on the lookout for a "mercenary character".

The character is described as: “An authoritative, fit, cool and charismatic military type" and will need to be "able to ride a horse."

There's also a casting call for a “rough and ready, sea-faring type" sailor, while another new character will be a 25-35-year-old farmer described as a “straightforward, honest man of simple tastes who works on the land”.

Series eight of Game of Thrones is expected to be screened next April.
