Liverpool have proved themselves as quick-starters in this Champions League campaign scoring first in ten out of their fourteen ties.

There's a sense that if the Reds are to leave Kiev with their sixth Champions League title in tow they will again need to discover this hare-like pace.

The first goal in Champions League finals has unsurprisingly proved crucial since the tournament's birth in 1956 - and in eight of the last ten tournaments the first goal has been scored by a player of the winning team.
