Running from Thursday 1 December until Sunday 8 January, this magical fairy tale needs no introduction, as the beautiful Snow White and her seven tiny friends from the enchanted forest attempt to defeat their evil ruler the Wicked Queen.

The Wicked Queen becomes jealous as soon as her magic mirror tells her that Snow White is the fairest in all the land. Will Snow White meet her handsome prince and live happily ever after…?

This year’s show follows last year’s production of Cinderella - one of the Civic Theatre’s best attended pantomimes ever, with over 25,500 tickets sold.

Cast details are yet to be finalised for the 2016/17 show, and an announcement is expected to be made in the coming weeks.

Rotherham Civic Theatre Manager Jo Longworth said she was looking forward to welcoming another spectacular pantomime from Shone Productions.

She said: “Pantomime during the festive season is always a special time of year for families at the Civic Theatre. I can’t wait to see what this year’s show brings.
