Rotherham United were on hand to show their support for their stadium-naming-rights friends at AESSEAL after the company received a prestigious award.

AESSEAL were given their 13th Queen’s Award in 26 years, and Millers chairman Tony Stewart was at their Mill Close premises as they raised a flag to mark their most recent success.

The award for enterprise and innovation recognises cutting-edge developments in the assembly and supply of seal support systems.

“It was a great honour to be involved in the ceremony which sees our partners at AESSEAL maintain their esteemed association with the Queen’s Award,” Stewart said. “This is one of the highest accolades that a business can be presented with.”

AESSEAL founder and group managing director Chris Rea said: “AES Engineering and its subsidiary, AESSEAL, have previously won 12 Queen’s Awards since 1988, which means we have had the honour and privilege of being able to fly the flag and use the Queen’s Award emblem in our marketing.”

Stephen Shaw, group engineering director, added: “These developments have revolutionised our ability to supply complex seal support systems, providing the level of customer service that our customers have grown to expect from AESSEAL.”
