Say hello to Kitty at Sheffield shopping mall

Who needs the Easter Bunny when you can say Hello Kitty to one of the world’s most popular cartoon characters.

The world’s most famous and favourite Japanese bobtail cat is visting Crystal Peaks shopping centre, Waterthorpe, Sheffield as part of her 40th anniversary celebrations on Good Friday, April 18.

Other free family Easter events at the mall include a craft workshop tomorrow, face painting on Thursday, and a visit by Channel Five favourites Ben and Holly, of Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, on Easter Monday.

Today, the centre was being transformed into a working farm with a menagerie of chicks, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, a pygmy goat, spring lambs, a baby calf, an alpaca, a mini donkey, a pony, and an ultra-friendly working collie dog.
