Sheffield High School provides seamless education exclusively for girls from ages four to 18 and is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, the largest provider of independent education in the country.

This summer saw another round of excellent exam results. At GCSE, 77% of grades awarded were at A* or A, making them the best results for any school in Yorkshire or the north Midlands, while at A-level 78% of results were at grades A* to B.

The school has received a string of national awards for the exceptional quality of its extra-curricular provision and has won the national Independent Schools Award for the past two years for the strength of its community links.

It has state-of-the-art facilities for science, art and ICT in the Junior and Senior schools and has recently opened a large extension to its sixth form centre as well as a dedicated Year 11 commonroom in their base in the Moor Lodge building.

Main entry for pupils is at ages four, seven, 11, 13 and 16. Occasional vacancies occur in other year groups. For more information, phone (0114) 266 0324 or go to
