Seasonal cheer to aid Forge Dam restoration

The annual Christmas fair returns at Forge Dam next week.

Organised by the Friends of the Porter Valley group, activities are set to include wreath and decoration-making sessions for families, and live music played on a vintage organ.

Cakes, mince pies and mulled drinks are on the menu, and there will be a lucky dip. Visitors can browse stalls selling Christmas goods and crafts.

The fair will take place on Saturday, December 10, from 10am to 3.30pm in the Forge Dam Cafe area, along the main path and on the picnic green. Proceeds will go towards the dam restoration fund.
