Sheffield care homes open their doors to the public

Hawaiian beach parties, afternoon teas, dancing and magic are among the activities on offer for residents in Sheffcare homes across Sheffield as part of National Care Open Day.

The event on June 19 encourages care homes to open their doors to the public.

At Deerlands home in Parson Cross there will be a Hawaiian beach party, with the Lord Mayor of Sheffield among the guests.

Cotleigh in Hackenthorpe will be hosting an afternoon tea with an entertainer singing in the garden and a magic show.
