Sheffield households’ council tax frozen for fourth year

Sheffield Council has today announced it will freeze council tax for another year.

City leaders have opted not to increase bills for households across Sheffield, but warned of further cuts to public services in February’s budget.

This is the fourth year residents have enjoyed a freeze in council tax. Cash comes from £2 million of central government cash made available at the end of last year.
