Sheffield junction change given the go-ahead

Plans to narrow the junction on Stumperlowe Lane where it meets Fulwood Road in Fulwood have been approved by the city council to make it easier for pedestrians to cross.

A council report said the scheme would cost £28,935, and that the change would reduce the distance across the junction.

The route is well used by pupils walking to nearby schools, the report added.

Tactile paving and lowered kerbs will also be installed.
