Sheffield men charged with manufacturing firearms

Two men appeared before Sheffield magistrates this morning after being accused of allegedly manufacturing firearms.

Raymond Todd, aged 54, of Shiregreen, and Byron Cowling, aged 43, of Wincobank, were charged with firearms offences in the early hours of this morning.

The offences relate to the manufacture of firearms and ammunition, under the Firearms Act.

A police spokesman said: “Police conducted an operation in the Newman Road area of Sheffield on Thursday and arrested the two men in connection with firearms offences.”
