Sheffield residents put spring in step of animal sanctuaries

Generous Sheffielders have raised some £3,100 for local animal sanctuaries as part of a Support Adoption for Pets spring fundraising campaign.

The fundraising drive was carried out at the Pets at Home stores in Sheffield over four weeks.

The money will be split between Rotherham Dog Rescue, Sheffield Hallam Cats Protection, Sheffield Cat Shelter and Labrador Welfare.

Charity manager Amy Wilson said: “It’s thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of Pets at Home customers and colleagues in Sheffield that we were able to raise such a fantastic amount.”
