George Brunt, a 28-year-old visual effects artist, is training hard for the 26.2-mile race which takes place on Sunday, April 23.

He is raising money for Early Education, which campaigns for equal rights of all children of access to high quality schooling.

George's mother Di Chilvers has been involved in the Sheffield branch of the charity for many years.

"Early Education is a great cause to run for," said George.

"My mum and my family have been involved with it for a long time and it's a charity that's been running for about 80 years now.

"They do a lot of great things to train nursery teachers and support families across the country to give kids the best start in life, whatever their background.

"And I think in a time when things like this are getting hit hard by austerity, it's more important than ever that we rally behind them."
