Who will step up to the plate for Steelers?

Elite League run-in

1: The Sheffield Steelers are joint top of the Elite league, they are desperate to retain their league championship and have just three home games remaining in the league schedule. Everybody must perform to their very best.

2: Could this be the night that Paul Thompson rolls the dice and plays one of, if not both Colton Fretter and Robert Dowd. Time has passed for waiting. The Steelers have no more time, they can’t wait any longer. This is a cometh the moment time. All hands on deck.

3: Steelers power forward Guillaume Desbiens is suspended – a match penalty against the Coventry Blaze. Who is going to pick up the slack, who is going to make the difference? Which Steelers star will say “Don’t worry boys, jump on my back” - It’s simple the Steelers have to win. Will the Steelers drive back to an empty apartment on Saturday after the game or will they drive home with the Prom Queen?

4: The last three Arena crowds have been amazing. Two of them topped 7,000. The City of Sheffield loves this Steelers team. They love their work ethic, they love how they have played through adversity and injury. They love how their stars play hurt, play injured, play beat up. No one wearing orange gives less than 100% 100% of the time. If you are a proud Yorkshire person then come and watch a club that shares your values.

5: There are just three League home games remaining this year (four including the play off quarter final) - the season is almost over and your Steelers team have once again delivered for you. They are right in the mix fighting for a league title to bring home to you on the final day of the season (ironically from Fife who we play this Saturday at the Arena)
