Sheffield suburb’s post office to close for re-vamp

Tinsley Post Office in Sheffield is to close for a re-vamp.

It is to be transformed into a Post Office Local and after closing at 5.30pm on Monday, January 11 for the refurbishment to take place.

The post office will re-open its doors on Thursday, January 21.

Post office services will be provided in the Bawtry Road store at an open-plan counter alongside the till.

Services will be available from 8am to 7pm Mondays to Fridays; 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 10am to 7pm on Sundays.

During the closure customers are asked to use Brinsworth or Wincobank post offices.

Post Office Area Manager, Caroline Pritchard, said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking.”
