Sheffield United receive ticket boost for Oldham clash after 4,700 seats made available

Sheffield United will be backed by around 4,700 fans when they travel to Oldham later this month.

United confirmed earlier today that, following discussions between the two sides, Oldham have agreed to give the visitors one of their home stands and issue a new allocation of tickets for the game, on March 25.

Tickets will be on sale at a later date than orignally planned, from 9am on Wednesday, March 8.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but believe the correct decision has been made by both clubs in order to satisfy the demand for tickets," a United spokesperson said.

"United would like to thank Oldham Athletic for their co-operation on this matter."
