Shop is ‘flying the flag’ at top national antique award

A Sheffield shop is the only one in the region to be nominated for a top award.

The Sheffield Antiques Centre, in Heeley, is shortlisted in the national homes and antiques centre of the year awards, to be held in London.

Customers had to vote for shops to get in the final.

Owner Tracey Healey said: “We were delighted to have been selected for a chance to win the award in the first place, but even more so to be going to the finals, because the only way to actually get there was by our customers voting for us.”

“We are proud to be the only antiques centre in South Yorkshire to have been selected.

“We are so happy to be flying the flag for South Yorkshire and Sheffield.”

The shop is located in Sheffield’s new antiques quarter of stores in and around Broadfield Road.
