Sign up for one of VCL’s new creative courses

Valley Community Learning centre in Gleadless Valley, Sheffield, is giving locals a fresh start in 2014, with the chance to learn new skills.

Courses will cover topics from improving maths and grammar to learning computer basics, making pizza, cooking on a budget, operating an iPad and tracing your family history.

Deputy Projects Manager Simon Birds said: “With so much pressure on finding work, improving your skills or feeding your family, VCL is delighted to be able to offer a wide range of courses.

“We’re looking forward to giving as many people from the local community as possible the chance to improve their life skills.”

Attend VCL’s enrolment day next Tuesday at the Terry Wright Community Hall, on Gleadless Road, from 11am to 1pm.
