Snailsden Reservoir death man named

A man who died after getting into difficulty in a reservoir has been named by police.

The body of 38-year-old Jonathan David Pardon, from the Fartown area of Huddersfield, was recovered from the water at Snailsden Reservoir, near Dunford Bridge, on Sunday afternoon.

Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and a post-mortem examination will take place later this week to determine the exact cause of Mr Pardon’s death.
