TWO Olympic hopefuls got their training kit off as they joined the battle to beat male cancer.

World cycling champion Ben Swift, from Rotherham, and diver Nick Robinson-Baker, who trains in Sheffield, took time out from preparations for London 2012 to bare all in a Calendar Girls-style shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine.

The pair did the full Monty for a feature dedicated to raising awareness for the cancer charity Everyman.

They join fellow Team Great Britain athletes - including 400-metre runner Conrad Williams and gymnast Louis Smith - in the July issue of the women’s glossy magazine.

Ben, who is working to forge a place in Great Britain’s cycling squad, has insisted he will not be swapping the saddle for the catwalk.

He said: “This shoot was like going into the unknown. I had a spray tan beforehand, which was a bit weird for me. I washed it straight off the next morning!”

Meanwhile Nick said he was looking forward to the chance of competing for medals in London next month.

“When you finally make an Olympic team, you’re very passionate,” he said.
