The forward pair will sit out Sheffield Steelers' Play Off final with Cardiff Devils at Nottingham Arena.

Jamtin was dropped for Saturday's semi final win over Nottingham Panthers.

Marquardt got the nod for that game, but either his display did not fit the bill or coach Paul Thompson has reacted tactically to the challenge of league champions Cardiff, who scored more goals in their 56 Elite League games than any team under them.

Thompson has restored Finnish defenceman Miika Franssila to the blue line - Thompson also having been concerned at some of the defensive lapses his team were guilty of in the first two periods against Panthers.

Cardiff are favourites to lift the trophy they lost to Steelers this time last year - they are the more rested after playing the earlier semi-final game yesterday.
