Traffic building as M1 CLOSED near Sheffield
Emergency services have closed the M1 motorway near Sheffield this afternoon following a crash involving two vehicles.
The northbound carriageway is closed at junction 31 near Aston and a diversion has been put in place via the exit and entry slip roads.
In a statement, South Yorkshire Police said there were not believed to be any serious injuries at this stage.
Traffic is already building approaching junction 31.
