This busy Sheffield road will be affected by highway works and a parking ban for four weeks

Psalter Lane in S11, which houses the popular Stag’s Head pub and takes drivers from the top of Sharrow to Hunters Bar as well as Nether Edge and up Ecclesall Road South, will be closed during weekdays from the end of this month.

Highway maintenance will take place from Monday, May 31 for four weeks during Monday-Friday weekdays. This will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Parking on the road will also be prohibited during this time, a highways sign reads.

Alternative routes to Ecclesall Road, such as Sharrow Vale Road, or Brincliffe Edge Road from Abbeydale Road, should be used.
