Sheffield’s Jessica Ennis-Hill CBE has been inducted into the English Institute of Sport’s Hall of Champions for a third time.
Jessica unveiled a framed picture and a record of her achievements to go on the wall at the EIS on Coleridge Road alongside other greats who have trained at the elite facility, such as Dame Kelly Holmes and boxing champ Carl Froch.
The accolade comes in recognition of her heptahlon victory at this year’s World Championships in Beijing and she described it as ‘a huge honour.’
Jessica said: “To be in the Hall of Champions alongside some great men and women who trained here as well is very special. I feel very lucky to be from this incredible city and to have this facility on my doorstep.”
