Sarb said: "The last two weeks have been awful for our family. We've been handing out leaflets and posting on Facebook and we're desperate to have him back home and that's why we're appealing to you today for your help.

"Lux please get in touch with us. We're worried, we want you home. Whatever problems you are facing, they can all be dealt with. Please come back home as soon as you can or please just get in touch to let us know you're OK."

Lakhbir - also known to family and friends as Lux - is described as being about 6ft 4ins tall, bald and of a slim build, with several tattoos.

He is known to have links to South Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Leamington Spa.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Derbyshire Police urgently, quoting incident number 221 of March 9.
