Taking a break from Yorkshire’s most watched news programme, presenter Harry and weatherman Paul got in some much needed practice.

Harry said: “Well, today was the first chance to practice our technique in a competitive environment and it looks like we’ve got a lot of work to do before our Sport Relief Challenge begins in two weeks’ time. But Paul and I are nothing if not committed and we’re confident we’ll be in tip top shape to raise money for this great cause. Look out for us hobbling up a road near you soon.”

Next month, the two telly favourites are taking on a unique challenge for BBC Sport Relief that will see them strapped to each other while they walk over 100 miles around Yorkshire.

They’ll take their first steps together back in Rotherham - on Thursday, March 10 - and after nine days walking on three legs they hope to reach the finish line in York on Friday, March 18.

The route will take in key Yorkshire landmarks including the Emley Moor transmitter, Halifax Piece Hall, Saltaire and climbs up Otley Chevin and Castle Hill in Huddersfield. See tour dates below.

Sport Relief is one of Comic Relief’s fundraising initiatives, in association with BBC Sport, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries.

It takes place every two years, and this year runs from Friday to Sunday, March 18 to 20, 2016.
