Take a trip back in time with this amazing film showing what Sheffield city centre looked like more than 35 years ago.
The 1981 film, one of several uploaded to video sharing website YouTube, shows the remarkable raft of changes that have taken place in the city centre over the last three decades - showing lost buildings, shops as well as fashions and vehicles of yesteryear.
The two minute clip, uploaded by SHTE Films, shows Surrey Street, Norfolk Street, The Crucible Theatre, The Town Hall and Barker's Pool - and reveals how many areas looked before pedestrianisation.
Eagle eyed viewers will be able to spot long-lost and forgotten stores of the 80s as well as demolished buildings such as the infamous "Egg Box" town hall extension.
Other films uploaded to the channel show scenes in Arundel Gate, Haymarket, Fitzalan Square and Waingate.
