Gritters out in Sheffield tonight as temperatures expected to plummet

Sheffield City Council announced all gritting routes in the city will be serviced this evening (20 January) as temperatures are expected to fall to a chilly two degrees overnight, according to the Met Office.

The early hours of Tuesday morning will see temperatures feel as low as just one degree from 1am until 3am, with the temperature not expected to reach more than five degrees until 10am tomorrow.
