Sheffield rock gods Def Leppard will hit the big screen with their Las Vegas live concert feature VIVA! Hysteria – and we are celebrating with tickets up for grabs, writes Graham Walker.

Fans can get to see a special one-night only screening in the band’s home town at Sheffield Cineworld on Thursday, September 19, at 8.30pm.

Frontman Joe Elliott watched a preview there with family, friends and lucky fans last week.

Sheffield Cineworld has now teamed up with us to give away five pairs of tickets to see Viva! Hysteria on their big screen ahead of October’s DVD and Blu Ray launch.

Def Leppard – Joe, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell – normally play arenas.

But in March they treated fans to 11 shows in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, in Las Vegas. Viva! Hysteria was filmed over two nights.

For the first time, they play their most popular album, Hysteria, in its entirety.

It topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic in 1987, spawned seven hit singles, including Joe’s favourite, Pour Some Sugar on Me, and sold 25 million copies. The show features other hits, including Rock of Ages and Photograph.
