EIGHTIES pop legends Boy George, Jason Donovan, Midge Ure, Jimmy Somerville, Belinda Carlisle, A Flock of Seagulls and Pepsi and Shirlie are coming to Sheffield - and we have tickets to be won, writes digital editor Graham Walker.

The Here & Now 10th Year Anniversary Tour is at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on Thursday, June 30.

It celebrates a decade of the phenomenally successful 80s live concert tours that have brought back on stage some of the biggest musical icons to perform for fans across the country.

Ex-Culture Club megastar Boy George will headline the tour for the first time, with global hits including Karma Chameleon, Time (Clock Of The Heart), Church Of The Poison Mind, It’s A Miracle and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

Former Neighbours soap star and West End sensation Jason Donovan soared on to the pop scene with Nothing Can Divide Us, Too Many Broken Hearts, Sealed With A Kiss and his duet with Kylie, Especially For You.

The Aussie superstar went on to leading roles on stage, including Joseph And His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.

Midge Ure, frontman with Vienna hitmakers Ultravox, co-wrote and produced the charity single Do They Know It’s Christmas? and co-organised Band Aid, Live Aid and later Live 8 with Bob Geldof.

Pepsi De Macque and Shirlie Holiman - now wife of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp - were simply Pepsi and Shirlie, Wham’s sexy backing singers turned pop duo in their own right. They are reforming for the first time since the 80s.
