Work has started on a new residential development at the site of a farm in Crosspool.

Builders have already begun completely restoring the original farmhouse building at Moor View Farm, off Manchester Road, while two derelict barns will also be fully refurbished.

In addition, city planners recently gave permission for five new build properties at the bottom of the site.

Peter Noble, associate director of architects Coda, said the homes would ‘meet the needs of the current market’.
