Yoga and vegan festival in Sheffield this weekend
Vegan cuisine from around the world will be on offer in Sheffield's first '˜yoga and vegan' festival this weekend.
The event on Sunday takes place at July 1 at Sheffield Firth Park Academy and combines plant based food with the poses of yoga, plus other health related activities.
It will include over 30 yoga classes, meditation sessions, a gong bath, talks on mental health, demonstrations, classes for children and a vegan market.
Food stalls selling 100 per cent vegan dishes from Mediterranean, Italian, Greek South-Indian and North-Indian cuisine will also be there.
The festival is being organized by Yogific.
“We are very excited to organize our first festival in Sheffield”, said organisers Kris and Molly.
“We are overwhelmed by the response - it is great to see so many vegan businesses in town.
“We have been running our yoga and vegan festivals, with thousands of participants different parts of the UK and other countries but we are excited to see the response of our first festival in Sheffield.
“Sheffield is also home to a thriving vegan community so we are looking forward to connecting with them.”
The entry ticket of £5 gives one access to all classes, talks and stall areas. Children get free entry.
