IN recent issues, you have published letters from Coun Julie Dore and Coun Shaffaq Mohammed which relate to political stances in council.
At a time when the nation’s finances are under such constraints and so many of the more vulnerable residents of this city are finding life becoming more and more difficult, surely all the elected councillors should be pulling together and not indulging in petty political backbiting?
The voters in Sheffield chose their political representatives, presumably because they believed, or hoped, they would act in their best interests.
Please will every councillor insist on working co-operatively for the benefit of all.
