The stars of British athletics will return to Sheffield this weekend for the British Athletics European Trials & UK Championships.

The two-day event this weekend, held at the English Institute of Sport, will see British athletes compete for a place at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg.

Rotherham’s Louise Bloor, who trains alongside Olympic queen Jess Ennis in Sheffield, is expected to compete.

Last year, Ennis broke the stadium record in the 60m hurdles at the trials, and Dwain Chambers was victorious in the 60m sprint at the age of 33.
