Kell Brook lifted the lid off the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday night and drew plaudits from the boxing world and beyond with his victory over Jo Jo Dan.
The sport’s big names were lining up to hail the hometown hero and celebrities, too, added their praise for ‘Special K’ after his fourth round stoppage.
