Dronfield grinds to a halt for 10k

Half the village of Dronfield seemed to turn out for the ever-popular annual 10K and fun run.

The winner was Sheffield RC star Mike Tanner, (33;47) who won February’s Hallam event at Endcliffe Park. Alasdair Campbell came second and Jan Pichl third. Dronfield fitness instructor Nicola Gleadall was first woman home, 21st overall (37:23.) There were 837 entries for the race.
