Winger Febian Brandy has been warned not to expect an instant recall to the Sheffield United side for Saturday’s trip to Leyton Orient.
Brandy is available again to face the league leaders after serving a four-match suspension, after his red card at Shrewsbury earlier this month.
But United boss Nigel Clough, who heavily fined the former Walsall winger after his second sending off of the season, has warned Brandy that he faces a fight to regain a place in the side.
“Febian can be an asset, if he can stay on the pitch for longer than ten minutes,” Clough, speaking after Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Brandy’s former side, said.
