Continuity is the key for Blades boss

Manager Nigel Clough will resist the urge to make wholesale changes to his Sheffield United side for this weekend’s FA Cup game at Cambridge United.

“We are trying to get a settled side together,” Clough said.

“If we can get seven or eight out there regularly it will bring a bit of continuity. After the cup game, we have three home games in quick succession coming up which we are looking forward to.

“We want to build confidence with an unbeaten run, and we are slowly making progress.”

Ryan Flynn could return to the squad after recovering from a foot injury, while Febian Brandy may once again miss out - despite being available again after suspension.
